Huawei, the fastest growing smartphone brand in Sri Lanka, recently unveiled their latest device into their smartphone portfolio through an interesting and attention-grabbing launch segment which took place during the Singer Lifestyle Festival 2016 which was held at the BMICH. With Huaweis goal on painting the town red with the brands launching their Red Revolution concept; it sure was a feast for the eyes of all consumers and avid shoppers who were present at the venue to witness the unveiling. As the colour red marks the brand logos prominence, the event unfolded with an Agent who was accompanied by special security escort him into the main hall from the BMICH premises, carrying a very special device. As the Agent revealed what he held in his possession, the Huawei GR5 2017 was placed at a centre-point for all to see. This special event for the country also happened to be a special one, as Sri Lanka was announced as the first country in the South East Asian region to have witnessed the launch of the Huawei GR5 2017. There are many special attributes that prospective consumers can find with this new introduction. The smartphone features a dual camera which includes a 12MP rear camera and a 2MP rear camera for depth of field, a 15 coprocessor, 3G RAM and 3340mAh battery for good performance and a 5.5-inch FHD with a metal design and curved body. The 1.25um large pixel option helps the user to achieve a cleaner shot with more clarity for photos that would be captured in the night. The Huawei GR5 2017 also comes with a third generation fingerprint sensor that is user-friendly and convenient. As customers usually prefer to integrate a password option into their devices for security purposes, the fingerprint sensor option would provide the user with the added benefit of protecting the info that is saved in their devices.
